Dan Huang received her B.S. and M.S. degree in physics in 2012 and 2015 from the Shenyang Normal University, China. She begins a PhD degree since September 2015 in Materials Science and Engineering of Northeastern University, China. From October 2016 to October 2018, she joined the Professor Mandrus’ and Keppens’ research group at the University of Tennessee as a visiting student. Her research project is the study of the magnetoelastic coupling properties of magnetic refrigeration materials using advanced technology involving synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction, neutron diffraction and Resonant Ultrasound Spectroscopy.
